Custom Order Process:

Follow the two simple steps below to reserve, order, and complete your custom order. These spots are limited to minimize wait times and give the best customer experience possible. After reading the steps, place your order at the bottom of this page.

1. Reserving Your Custom Spot

To reserve a spot on the Semper Sharp Customs list please purchase a non-transferable and non-refundable reservation on our website for $100. This fee will be used as a credit towards the completion of your order. Once paid, you will be guaranteed a spot for a custom order and supplied a number for the wait list via email within a few business days.

Things you should know before reserving your spot:

  • Please do not email us requests and ideas until your spot is called

  • One person may only hold two spots on the custom list at once

  • The order in which you pay for your reservation fee will dictate your spot in the waitlist 

  • These spots will be dropped on the website for purchase at the discretion of Semper Sharp

  • If you hold two spots one order must be completed and shipped before being able to request another spot

  • Semper Sharp will have the right to open and close the books as necessary

  • Your $100 reservation fee will count toward your invoice when it’s time to place your order

  • We can not do military, leo, or other discounts as custom orders take a lot more time, communication, and materials are a lot of times more expensive if it is a particular piece of steel, color of coral or mammoth, antler that we do not normally use, more shipping costs of getting one and two-piece supplies shipped here rather than our regular bulk orders, etc. We appreciate your service and are happy to offer a 10% discount if you purchase a drop knife and then email us your credentials after purchase

  • We will email you your custom order list number along with more information within a few days of purchasing your spot.

2. Placing your Order & Paying

You will be notified by us when your number on the waitlist is up. We will email you a detailed order sheet for you to fill out for your custom order (you have two business days to fill out this form). We will follow up with any questions we may have after your form is submitted. 

Once your order is confirmed an invoice will be sent to you and must be paid in full within 24 hours. After you’ve paid for your order, no changes to your order are allowed, whatsoever.

Once I email you I will send a follow up email at the 24 hour mark if I have not heard from you. At the 48 hour mark I will follow up with an email and text if possible. If I do not receive a reply, I will email you with your new number at the end of the list. If you are not ready, no problem, PLEASE just respond to my email to let me know you are not ready.

Things you should know before placing your order:

  • Limited to 5 knives or 1 Kitchen Set per allocation

  • Upon payment we will look to compete your order in a timely manner 

  • Custom orders require extra time and will cost more than traditional blades due to the time and effort to complete. Some factors that could increase cost are:

    • Blade Profile (one offs will have an additional cost)

    • Blade finishes and handle materials

    • Engravings

    • Types of Steel (Baker forge & Damasteel)

  • Semper Sharp has the right to deny any requests based on complexity, design, and resources. We do not allow you to make the blade or handle yourself. The following profiles are not allowed for custom orders:

    • No Byron’s Deer Hunters (BDH)

    • No Tavern Keys

    • No Honey Badgers

    • We WILL be allowing legacy V2 folders for custom order along with cigar cutters for custom order purchase between 1/9/24 & 1/10/24. We are giving everyone 24 hours to grab their Custom Legacy V2 spot. This can be one of the blades on your order.

Receiving Your Order

We will do our best to communicate with you and share photos of the process while we make your custom order. Once your order is completed, you will be notified and will receive a tracking number.

Things you should know:

  • Our plan is to email you weekly updates every Monday (sometimes Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest) from the time you place your order until it ships.

  • We will complete orders as best we can on a timely basis with a goal of 90 days or less (depending on if materials are in stock, have to be stabilized, or certain damascus made) from the time that your invoice is paid.
